F-Register

BRL 6000-25 and K25000 application

Support for CO certification for combustion appliances: BRL 6000-25, Kiwa K25000, handbook, procedures, flue gas checks and audit preparation.

CO certification / combustion appliances

Guidance for BRL 6000-25, Kiwa K25000 and the right CO handbook.

For companies working on gas combustion appliances, flue systems and combustion air supply, F-Register helps prepare CO certification. We work with Kiwa for certification and help with the handbook, procedures, measurement records and audit evidence.

Who is BRL 6000-25 or K25000 relevant for?

Boiler and service companies

For installation, maintenance, repair and commissioning of gas combustion appliances and flue systems.

Solo technicians and smaller companies

Kiwa K25000 can be a more compact route for smaller organisations, depending on activities and scope.

Hybrid installers

Companies combining heat pumps with boilers can keep cooling and CO records in one customer file.

Organisations with field teams

Personnel certificates, permissions, measuring tools, work orders and procedures must be demonstrably available.

Our CO certification approach

  1. We define your scope: appliance types, activities, technicians, measuring tools and documentation.
  2. We set up the CO handbook with procedures, work instructions, responsibilities and safety agreements.
  3. We prepare records for appliances, flue systems, measurements, inspection labels and reports.
  4. We organise audit evidence: certificates, tools, calibration, management review and work instructions.
  5. The application and assessment are handled by Kiwa; we support preparation and administration setup.
  6. After certification, work orders, reports, photos and measurements stay linked to customer, site and appliance.

What needs to be demonstrably in place?

For hybrid companies

Heat pump and combustion appliance in one file.

Many companies work on both cooling systems and combustion appliances. F-Register keeps these domains separated where required, but connected where useful: the same customer, same site and same maintenance process.

  • Link a boiler to a hybrid heat pump at the same site.
  • Create work orders for boiler, heat pump or combination.
  • Use separate audit documents for BRL100 and BRL 6000-25/K25000.
  • Only show active modules in customer portal, planning and reports.
Planning and work orders for combustion appliances in F-Register
Combustion appliances use the same planning and work order structure as the other modules.

Important

F-Register is not a certification body. Formal assessment and certification are performed by Kiwa or another appointed certification body. We help with preparation, handbook, setup, evidence and software-based records.
